We're proud to present another video series with Grammy-winning producer and engineer Peter Katis! Hosted at his very own Tarquin Studios, this footage reveals how Peter mixed The National's 2019 single 'You Had Your Soul with You'.

He outlines the process of tracking the album at the band's private studio, and elaborates on the typical workflow he employs when working with this highly creative group of musicians. With the multi-track mix session open, Katis takes you through the various parts of the record and gives you a listen to earlier versions of the project. You'll learn how he treated the majority of separate tracks 'in the box' while infusing a dose of analog mojo on his hardware master chain. Further to sharing his mix techniques, Peter imparts his views on hybrid workflow, creative alignment with artists, and loudness!
