The SP2016 was the first programmable effects box available on the market. It introduced the concept of the ‘plug-in’ to the pro audio world back in 1982, with actual hardware chips that would be plugged in under the hood. Revered for its signature reverbs, the SP2016 was notably used by Dave Pensado, George Massenburg, Alan Sides, Roy Hendrickson, Jack Douglas, and Mick Guzauski. The lush reverb can be heard on countless hit records by Talking Heads, Adele, Mariah Carey, Eminem, and more. Now, 36 years later, this signature sound is available for your DAW.

Three distinct reverb types:

Introduced in the early 1970s, the Omnipressor was the first dynamics effects processor of any kind. Originally invented by Eventide’s founder, Richard Factor (and later redesigned for production by John Paul), the Omnipresssor made a host of effects possible. It featured variable control of all aspects of dynamic modification. It also introduced the notion of the ‘side chain’ and foretold techniques that today we take for granted like ‘look ahead’ processing.

The Omnipressor plug-in is a faithful emulation of the “dark meter” unit and is popular among some of the world’s leading producers and engineers as a dynamics-modifier with variable expressive controls of all aspects of a signal’s dynamics. The Function control allows you to set compression and expansion ratios over a wide, continuous range from extreme expansion to infinite compression and beyond. Dynamic reversal, which reverses a sound’s envelope, allows you to make loud sounds quiet and quiet sounds loud.

SurferEQ 2 Boogie features 3 bands, two of which can be switched to Shelf mode, while the centre band can be switched between Surfing and static mode. Surfing mode tracks the pitch of a monophonic instrument or a vocal source and can adapt its bands' frequencies relative to the music in real-time, maintaining the natural harmonic balance of the sound source and making it possible to shape the source's timbre relative to the notes being played.

Parallel processing plays a fundamental part in getting a big mix sound. By duplicating the same audio into multiple copies and processing each duplicate with different levels of intensity, you can add more presence to a track - while still preserving its natural dynamics. The technique is a staple of modern music production. Parallel Aggressor is based on this concept. But instead of routing any audio to external busses, the plugin hosts the parallel tracks internally -and has them calibrated for maximum impact from the get-go. "Spank" offers a heavily compressed duplicate of your original track. "Heat" offers a heavily saturated duplicate. "Dry" is your clean audio. Work the two duplicates hard! Then combine all three signals to squeeze every last drop of sonic juice out of your track!

The Pulsar Echorec is a software emulation of the iconic echo/delay unit of the same name produced by the Italian brand Binson in the 1960s.
