Also known by his stage name ‘Darkchild’, Rodney Jerkins is a Grammy-winning producer, songwriter, and musician from New Jersey, USA. Since the late 90’s, he has worked with a top-tier selection of pop and urban artists including Sam Smith, Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Madonna, Brandy, Jennifer Lopez, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Kelly Clarkson, Keyshia Cole, Britney Spears, Cher, Janet Jackson, Destiny's Child, N'Sync, Gwen Stefani, Ludacris, Jamie Foxx, Black Eyed Peas, TLC, The Spice Girls, and Maroon 5. He has also lent his talents to cinematic music, having contributed to numerous movie soundtracks.
