About me

Crispin Hands is a multiple award-winning Composer, Producer, Audio Director, Sound Designer and Music Supervisor for videogames and film/TV with a career spanning nearly 3 decades.  He has composed and directed music for franchises loved by millions of players worldwide including Minecraft Legends, Disney Mirrorverse, Gears of War, Need For Speed, 2003 MTV Movie Awards, Dungeon Siege 2 and many others.  He has worked with with industry heavyweights such as Grammy Award winner Alan Meyerson and Emmy winners Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones) and Gavin Greenaway, BAFTA winner Jake Jackson, Grammy nominee Tina Guo and recently recorded Minecraft Legends at Abbey Road Studio with an orchestra comprising London's best  players.  Every major project Crispin has worked on in the past 15 years has garnered at least one significant award including BAFTA's, MPSE Golden Reel, Golden Joystick and countless nominations. 

Crispin is also the CEO and Creative Director of Lionshead Entertainment, a 30 person game and film audio production studio providing music and sound services for some of the biggest studios and publishers in the games industry.  He has a relentless passion and drive combined with a thoughtful approach to storytelling and a charismatic, compassionate approach to working with people across all disciplines.
