About me

Guitar Player for 30 Years, various Bands in which i ended up being the Guy to figure this recording thing out, first Studio build with 15, study mixing finished with a diploma and decided to not open a Studio but start a acoustic Design and Studioconstruction Company for a living. Designed Studios for elysia, SPL, Brainworx/Plugin Alliance now Native Instruments and many, many more and do nothing else since 15 Years. Some say it´s the best Job in the World but....my real Zen is in front of my SSL in my personal Dream Studio which gets actually not used enough to justify but maybe one day. Love this Site and love to watch people do what i would love to do too :-) I love CLA and his Style of mixing but would really love to see more Stuff from ANDY WALLACE!

Studio

DAW to Analogue mix Studio based arround a SSL AWS Delta. Monitoring: Sky Audio Verdade, CLA10´s, Mono Auratone. 2Bus = Bus+ or Blue 230 or API 2500 followed by 2 EQM1S3. Additional Masterbus arround a SPL DMC with Hermes and Gemini with elysia Alpha, Sontec 482D, SPL PQ, IRON, Passeq, Bettermaker Mastering EQ, OnTheMoon Spacecraft and a NEVE Masterpiece. Every Channel has compression available from 1176´s, LA2A´s, LA3A´s, Distressors, UBK Fatso, various Neve, elyisa and SSL X Rack Dynamics. Only External FX in use like: Lex960, Bricasti, REV-1, EMT 240 and 246, SONY R7, V77 and more, 2X PCM 42, 2X Echo Pro, 2X Yamaha D5000, 2X TC D2, Ursa Major Space Station, Roland Dimension D, Eventides, Echo Fix and lately some old Digitechs as pseudo 2nd. Inserts on Direct Outs for Special Channels. Actually the only thing missing is TIME to use it more due to my Job.
