Hi do you mean acoustic treatment for mastering/recording room? If so for reinforcement I placed many sandbags outside the mastering room walls and ceiling overhead to compliment the rockwool insulation already there. The rule for perfection would be no sound out, no external environmental sound coming in.

Anything can make it sound worse, just because it was used to improve upon a dB doesn't mean it'll work preferably in every sound level state that is being worked on if that makes sense.

Awesome brother, I gained a new found respect for the Elysia. Its used in the same technique as a Shadow Hills mastering compressor. I just keep the limiting on inside the MT48 bus dynamics, when making an instrumental mix into it so all the sounds have great adherence to attack and release times. Great session to watch. Definitely understanding the parts I was in the dark about more light.

it is hard to talk when doing so since it takes much focus and attention to listening and EQ'ing the specific frequency. I suggest trying out the SSL 4KB plug in, it is elegant, and I picked it up rather quickly.
