I think it`s more a 'giving credit where it's due' situation. Also, I think that when you are a big name like Tony Maseratti, a bunch of producers might send you the mix pratically done, just to do the final polish and pass the quality control of an expert.

What I admire most about Maserati (outside of his enormous skill-set) is his ability to know when to apply processing to a track and when to leave it as-is. Truly inspiring.
