Bio
Ninajirachi, real name Nina Jo Wilson, is a producer and DJ from the Central Coast of Australia known for her bristling, glassy take on electronic pop and club music. Her stage name is a combination of her first name and her favorite Pokémon, Jirachi.
She first stepped into the spotlight with her debut single ‘Pure Luck,’ a collaboration with Freya Staer, before building a catalogue that spans singles on NLV Records, including ‘Lapland’ and its EP, and remixes for artists like Flight Facilities and Deadmau5.
Ninajirachi has performed regularly on Australia's festival circuit, playing Spilt Milk, Beyond The Valley, Listen Out, Splendour, Groovin' The Moo, FOMO, and Falls Festival, and has toured alongside Mallrat, Charli XCX, What So Not, and her longtime production idol, Cashmere Cat. She's also released singles ‘Dracodraco’ and ‘Stoneteller’ through RL Grime's Sable Valley imprint.
Her innovative approach to production has also caught the attention of major brands: Ableton commissioned her to create the demo track for Ableton Live 11, she has partnered with Logitech, and the Sydney Opera House invited her to perform at the Joan Sutherland Theatre as part of their Liminal series.
Her debut full-length project, Second Nature, released in 2022, marked a turning point in her career, a darker, more intricate collection of tracks led by the single ‘Start Small’ that brought her songwriting to the forefront. The album earned her a cover feature in NME Magazine and a spot on EDM.com's Top Producers of 2022 list.
