Many other bands in pop music have upped their tempo when recording live. The classics, of course, follow the conductor. For example, listen to recordings of the Miles Davis Quintet. The speed often goes through the roof! Nowadays productions are mostly focused on the click in terms of tempo and if it doesn't fit, then it will be made to fit. What's grooving more now?! :-))

Some tricks, a lot of time without information when you don't know what he is doing. Interesting mindset but it's just not enough in my opinion for a masterclass at this coast.

Having watched all videos on here I felt I learned the most from Nick’s excellent demo - very generous info and at the right pace. All of the Bad Seeds own creative ethos is completely present in his mixing. A joy to watch.
