    It's a nice single, but this is the kind of 'production' that makes me just plain sad. Most of the 'vintage soul/funk' these folks are trying to copy was recorded in a day or two by kickass musicians and real artists. Real music performed by real talent. Instead, now it's two guys spending weeks auditioning dozens of LinnDrum kicks and 'which 808 crash to use'. Ugh. Somebody shoot me. :-)

    I don't need CLA to spell out every move he makes, but it sure would be nice to see the on-screen notes with some actual technical detail beyond "EQing Guitars" or "Adjusting Reverb Levels". Sure, it's not EASY to do... but isn't that the point? Somebody should be taking notes as he works, and then making those details available to subscribers. Part of the fun of CLA is watching the sometimes extreme EQ moves he makes... I was disappointed not to get any of the 'real' inside info here.

    Fab. Only CLA can crank +10db at 9K without a glimmer of hesitation. I was a bit curious what the Distressors are doing. I see them hitting fairly hard on Kick and Snare but he doesn't mention them in the chain...? Either way: Classic CLA Magic.
