Anthony revives the original session in Logic Pro and recounts his experiences working alongside long-time Kanye collaborators like Hit-Boy and Mike Dean. You will learn how they customized the original beat with new layers and textures and how they chopped and screwed various elements to reinforce the song’s iconic vocal hooks. The producer also deconstructs the song’s highly memorable outro, which was produced remotely on an iPad by Mike Dean.
Anthony then shifts focus into his engineering process, sharing the tools and techniques he used to record and mix the track.
