So good! Love the band, and now love Catherine too. Even though this series was a bit higher level, I really enjoyed the more arranging and music-making perspective, over lower-level details. I enjoy the talk about career arc, artist relationships, relating to the music itself and its emotion, and hearing about techniques and gear. And FWIW, I do a similar thing OTB for parallel… one I/O to comp, other I/O just out and back in again. People think I’m crazy, and I’d love to spare the I/O, but I swear there’s a difference lol.

Fantastic! Catherine is very generous and I love her sounds. This series is full of gems and new ways of looking at things. It would be great to see her mixing something from scratch!

I love LOVE this. So passionate, so many good ideas. Random, I was re watching that Nevermind docu last night where Butch Vig was explaining that same process to make that crazy huge guitar sound. It works so well here. The last Boygenius is so good too. Thanks for this session.
