All the mastering courses here feels like scam, all the hardware and the studio just to put an Ozone plugin and fabfilter , they capping for sure lol

It would have been incredibly useful watching also at least one master on a less "perfect" mix like the ones he mentions coming from indie artists

I feel like YouTube tutorials made you guys think that there has to be a secret plug-in… In reality it‘s: your ear, your room, your experience > the tools that you use.

nobody wants to reveal their best pluggins or best techniques, we all have Pro Q3 and Izotope Maximizer, thanks anyway for your words. If mastering was only those 2 pluggins anyone could master dua lipa´s tracks. I am sure you´ve done much much more to it than just that.

I think he actually used those plugins. But the mix was already a semi-mastered squashed mix. I'm sure he doesn't do this with raw dynamic mixes.

I love the way he puts everything. It is so easy to get caught up in the "Level lie", ego, and other technicalities instead of just doing what is necessary for the vibe and energy of the record... Quality over Level

Es verdad que te quedas pensando en como hace las cosas y si quizá hace menos de lo que podría hacer, pero si es muy interesante su filosofía, que fue creando a base de su exoperiencia y dice muchas verdades, esta sesión mas que como aprender a masterizasr, la veo como, aprender a entender el mastering en la industria musical hoy en día, creo que hay cosas muy importantes para aprender, eso si, si quieres aprender a masterizar realmente in the box, este no es tu video.
