So, what's the name of this band? She says something like "Akashic Fields" in the video but it's listed as "Future Moon." Anyone know where to find more music from this band?

I guess when you are Sylvia Massy, you can make arrangement changes like that. I know most clients would scoff if you changed the arrangement or removed elements. Not that what she did was bad in any way. Most mix engineers don't have that freedom.

She said if they didn't like it, she'd happily remove the bits that she added. If you come up with something that improves the track, go for it, just tell them you'll take it off if they don't like it. It's about taking the initiative.

Must be in her contract, but the band could probably veto. But also, you get SM promoting your track, in a very nice way, on MWTM.

Nice tune, I liked the addition she added....Vocalist is very very hard to understand. Even when soloed...but overall, I had fun mixing it.
