About me
At 23, I stood on a flat roof in Tønsberg, Norway, shoveling snow as a formwork carpenter. I thought: Is this what I dreamed about?
No. My dream was music – specifically, becoming an audio engineer.
One kilometer away was Idéfagskolen, one of Norway's top audio schools. I applied, got in, and trained under Johnny Sareussen – legendary producer for Øystein Sunde, Knutsen & Ludviksen, Lillebjørn Nilsen, Wenche Myhre, and countless Norwegian artists.
Johnny taught me something that still shapes my work: combining critical listening with systematic workflow. Follow a system every time, and you work efficiently without straining your ears – which means consistently better results.
But after graduating, I realized I didn't know how to build a business.
So I became obsessed with marketing. And discovered my superpower: the intersection of audio excellence and business strategy.
17 Years of Audio & Viral Success I've delivered audio work for Microsoft, Shell, and Devold – voice-over production and commercial sound design for major brands. I've worked on viral campaigns reaching millions of views (6M, 4M, 2M, and multiple 1-2M projects), handling both full production and post-production.
I've managed social media accounts with 100,000+ followers and 100 million views , driving both strategy and audio production.
Today at Ålesund Lydstudio , I work on commercial audio/video production and consult businesses on audio branding strategy. Though honestly? I usually end up being their marketing strategist too.
Because talent isn't enough. You need audience-building systems and sustainable business practices.
That's why I founded Renegade Musicians – teaching touring musicians to build independent careers through systems that actually work. Not hoping for record deals, but owning their audience and income.
Because audio professionals deserve to live off their craft. On their own terms.
