I am delighted to be able to listen to Hans Zimmer. But I am also honest. I am a musician with several years of practical experience. I would have liked these videos with Hans Zimmer to go into more depth, for example, to analyse one of his pieces of music and for him to take us with him into his work process. He has given many such interviews in the past – also available for free on YouTube. I would have liked a little more added value, especially from MWTM. I can only assume that he declined and that's why the videos only scratch the surface.

I do appreciate the insight and philosophical musings from someone of his experience and stature, but like others have said it would be awesome to watch a series where he breaks down a score or walks through a cue or shows us something about the actual craft in process! Maybe in the future?

Love hearing Hans talks about music. Always love to hear more but I really wish to see something more depth and in action. Session breakdown. His writing process. How he learn his craft. All the details how to in depth. If that is could possibly be available that would inspire so many people. We're all trying to learn from the master.

I thought it was great hearing him talk at length on all those various prompts. The mindset/philosophy is more important than which screwdriver he’s using.

This product is not much different from his Masterclass. the part that he says "this might be a bit boring" is actually the more interesting part. The examples of Macros and setting things up. how he works with his busses, his approach to sampling and all of that. Missed opportunity guys.

Always great to see more Hans Z content, but I think it'd be great for MWTM to get a different take on HZ - a track breakdown, a hands on process (him putting a cue together), or something besides another Hans-talking-to-the-camera video. Maybe you guys are already working on that!

Agree. This was quite disappointing. Why show off his studio without ever showing him working in it? I was dying to hear about his setup.

Hans Zimmer is a score composer and music producer from Frankfurt, Germany. During his childhood he was strongly influenced by the work of Ennio Morricone, and has cited Once Upon a Time in the West as the score that inspired him to become a composer. Hans moved to London as a teenager, where he finished school and began his career playing keyboards and synthesizers with the band Krakatoa.
