RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategy & Leadership

  • Define the overall marketing vision and strategic priorities.
  • Translate this vision into actionable roadmaps for each marketing function.
  • Lead and mentor the Communication, Paid Acquisition, and CRM / Customer Success teams.
  • Ensure all initiatives align with the brand identity, creative standards, and company objectives.

2. Communication & Content

  • Define the communication strategy (social media, newsletters, editorial content).
  • Oversee content production in collaboration with the Communication Lead.
  • Maintain high creative, visual, and editorial standards across all channels.
  • Develop storytelling-driven campaigns to strengthen community engagement.

3. Acquisition & Growth

  • Define the paid acquisition strategy (Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, Display, Affiliates).
  • Oversee campaign execution with the Paid Acquisition Lead.
  • Supervise the creation of marketing assets (videos, visuals, landing pages, ads).
  • Identify new growth opportunities and innovative marketing approaches.

4. CRM, Retention & Customer Success

  • Develop and optimize the retention strategy (onboarding, lifecycle, segmentation, upsell).
  • Supervise CRM workflows (automations, email sequences, activation journeys).
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to enhance user experience and conversions.
  • Track and improve key lifecycle metrics (activation, engagement, churn, LTV).

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze:
    • paid acquisition performance
    • communication & social engagement
    • retention & CRM KPIs
    • website and traffic data

  • Build clear and actionable dashboards.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership (weekly / monthly / quarterly).
  • Foster a strong data-driven culture within the marketing team.

PROFILE

Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally in a creative, media, or cultural industry.
  • Either professional experience in the music industry OR a deep understanding of its culture, audience, and market dynamics (non-negotiable).
  • Proficiency in acquisition, communication, CRM, branding, and analytics best practices.
  • Excellent understanding of multi-step marketing funnels and user lifecycle journeys.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong visual sensitivity to uphold brand quality.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools: Meta/Google Ads, GA4, Looker Studio, CRM (ideally HubSpot), marketing automation tools.
  • Analytical mindset with strong ROI orientation.
  • English: native or bilingual level (spoken and written). French is a plus.

Responsibilities

– Coordinate all aspects of MWTM’s in-person Seminars and Masterclasses, from pre-production through post-event follow-up
– Manage communications with participants pre- and post-event, ensuring smooth onboarding and high satisfaction
– Plan logistics including travel, accommodation, catering, and equipment for instructors and participants
– Act as the on-site lead during events, managing schedules and troubleshooting issues if need arrives in real time
– Serve as one of the primary contact for artists, studios, partners, and attendees before and during each event
– Where needed, collaborate with the content and production teams to ensure seamless integration of media capture during sessions
– Maintain and improve internal tools and documentation for event processes and planning

Required Skills

– Event Planning: Strong background in international event coordination (creative, corporate, or educational settings)
– Communication: Clear, professional, and empathetic verbal and written communication
– Organization: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple timelines and vendors simultaneously
– Languages: Fluent in English; French proficiency is highly desirable; other languages are a plus
