Travel across the genre multiverse with Danny L Harle as he shares the story behind four exceptional collaborations with PinkPantheress, Oklou, Clairo, and TDJ. Joined by artists Oklou and PinkPantheress, the group explores new approaches to composition and collaboration, testing the boundaries between one song and another.
Danny starts with a look at his work with acclaimed EDM producer TDJ. Hear the original ideas and fragments that became ‘Shoreline’ by TDJ and ‘Facing Away’ ft. Clairo – two radically different songs that were built around the same melodies and lyrics. Danny explores the complex relationship between composition and remixing while walking through his forward-thinking approach to making pop music.
Danny later opens up two additional tracks with PinkPantheress and Oklou, sharing the stories of how they came to life in the studio. Pink and Oklou join him as they share innovative tips on writing hooks, arranging vocal harmonies, experimenting with drum grooves and more. It is an endless search for new inspiration, as they seek to answer a potent question: what if a song is never truly finished?

Danny L Harle is a Grammy nominated British music producer and composer, who has written and produced for artists such as Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Clairo, Rina Sawayama, Lil Uzi Vert and Nile Rogers. Oklou is the recording name of Marylou Mayniel, a French musician and producer from Poitiers. Trained on piano and cello, she began putting her own recordings online around 2013 and issued her first EP as Oklou after moving to Paris in 2015. That same year she co-founded the DJ collective TGAF, which made waves on the Paris club scene until it disbanded in 2018. About PinkPantheress
PinkPantheress is the artist moniker of British songwriter and producer Victoria Beverley Walker. Born in Bath in 2001, she made her first tracks on GarageBand at 17 and began sharing snippets to TikTok in late 2020. After several clips went viral in 2021, she signed to Parlophone and Elektra and released her debut mixtape to hell with it that October.
