    And, as Ricky would say: NEVER CHASE A HIT. So, this story of this track is incredible. But, it isn't purposely chasing a hit. It's being given a bit of an order and having to get all hands on deck and rise to the moment to pull this song down and out and is validating to just how much that matters as not everything needs to be done in a day or a virtue is not always to say something took no time actually. Let's apply more effort, think through something vs. blowing out tracks just because we can. Worldwide smash hit songs are simply different. They just are. Thanks MWTM as always. Thanks RR and Blake, and Bill. And Lizzo. And Nice Dot Life. On and on.

    I do want to really say this - DURING THE PANDEMIC/COVID - what Ricky did weekly, and how less than I think probably 50 of us got to do each week with him, will be forever something I am blessed to have, the experience, the knowledge, and the heart of how he is. He gave his time so much, to connect, and just work thru everything together. And we got to submit tracks or do versions of the prior week's track he blew out on his drum machine and in his basement with a bottle of Bonterra organic red wine and all of us on a live youtube/facebook/zoom feed... I am forever grateful. I share this, because the guy really is as he comes across. Obsessed, real, comedic, and fun. He oozes and embodies why any of this matters.
